In September of each year, Manitoba police and peace officers, citizens and families gather at the legislature for a memorial service to honour the nearly 50 fallen police officers.

The 93rd Annual Winnipeg Police Association Charity Ball takes place Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Canad Inns Polo Park. The WPA Charity Ball is the longest running annual charity function of its kind in North America.
